When did Lakewood Instruments separate from GE?
Milwaukee, WI, September 30, 2005. Lakewood Instruments is pleased to announce its new ownership as an independent, privately owned and operated company. The company was previously part of GE Water & Process. Since 1973, Lakewood Instruments is a manufacturer and assembler of reliable water treatment controllers for cooling tower, boiler, process, and waste water applications. As always, Lakewood people remain committed to a high level of customer service. All Lakewood employees will remain with the company, with several achieving over ten years of service. The company will maintain its operations in Milwaukee.

What are the hours of operation of Lakewood Instruments?
Lakewood Instruments is open between 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST. Monday through Friday.

How are Lakewood Instruments products distributed?
Lakewood Instruments products are sold through equipment distributers and water treaters.

How are product returns handled?
When any product is to be returned to the factory, please call 1-800-228-0839 to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number and have the following information available: 
Customer's name, address, telephone and fax numbers.
A contact person's name and telephone number to call if the equipment is beyond repair or to discuss any other warranty matter.
Equipment model and serial numbers.
Reason for return, e.g., repair, warranty, incorrect part, etc.
We will then fax to your attention an RGA form that must accompany the returned item.
Please write the RGA number on the outside of the package to ensure proper routing.
